Nicole Troup

Artist, Nicole Troup, lives with her husband and two children in Greencastle, PA. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in Lancaster and is now the art teacher at Montessori Academy in Chambersburg, PA.

Aside from teaching, Nicole is currently working as a portrait artist collaborating with several celebrities to bring attention to special causes. These celebrities include: actor Michael Shannon (Man of Steel and Nocturnal Animals) actress Zoe Saldana (Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy), Alan Cumming (X-Men and TV series The Good Wife) Machine Gun Preacher (Machine Gun Preacher movie starring Gerard Butler) and WWE superstar Titus O’Neil.

Nicole is also a commissioned portrait artist for private and official commissions. Her clients include WWE celebrity superstar wrestler Titus O’Neil, doctors, local clients and Summit Health of Franklin County who commissioned her to paint their retired CEO, Norman Epstein. She has also painted former PA Governor, Tom Corbett.

Aside, from her career as a portrait artist, Nicole teaches art classes to children and adults in her Greencastle studio and in local galleries. Her work experience includes teaching children’s art classes, art camps and adult classes in Maryland and Pennsylvania at Howard’s Art Store & Frames, the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, the Council for the Arts, Gallery 50 in Waynesboro and among other locations.

Nicole’s work has been showcased in national art exhibits as well as a number of local exhibitions across Maryland and Pennsylvania in such locations as the Mercersburg Academy, Mansion House Art Gallery, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Council for the Arts, Washington County Arts Council and the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, among others.
